In the book of Acts, we read about the church in Antioch. This was the place where followers of Jesus were first called Christians. In this church, we see the embodiment of service to the Lord, missional community, and multiethnic community. From here, the Lord called Paul and Barnabas to proclaim the gospel to the Roman Empire.

We see to build this same sort of community, one that is committed to worshipping God, proclaiming the gospel, and loving one another has Christ has love us. This is not a new way of doing things nor is it a trendy new idea, this is the essence of the New Testament Church.
